FCHS Lunch Program
Freeburg Community High School utilizes an automated pay system for lunches, salads, and snacks. The cashiers in the cafeteria will not accept cash purchases during the lunch periods. Instead, students may bring cash or checks to school that will be deposited into their Teacherease account. When a student brings money to school to be added to their lunch account, it should be placed in an envelope with the student’s first and last name as well as their Student ID on the front of the envelope. They may turn the envelope into the main office or to the lunch cashiers during the student’s assigned lunch period. Parents may add money to their student’s account starting at registration or via credit card through their Teacherease account.
Students with no money in their accounts will still be allowed to purchase the school lunch with a limit not to exceed $7.50 (The cost of two lunches) or $0.80 for reduced. Students with a zero or negative balance will not be able to purchase snacks.
Parents may utilize Teacherease to access their student’s ID numbers, to check their lunch balances or to add money to their account.
